How old did people get in the Middle Ages? What did they die from? What remedies did they know? And how can you tell from a bone?

These and other questions will be answered this weekend by the two anthropologists Isabelle Jasch and Antje Langer. They will bring unique specimens from the collections of the University of Tuebingen and the Antiquities Department of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg as well as human remains from various medieval excavations.

Battle wounds, sicknesses and signs of malnutrition are among the many interesting things that can be shown on the archaeological finds. Get closer with the true witnesses of early medieval life!
